Amityville: The Awakening to be released for free on Google Play

Having sat on the shelf at Dimension Films and Miramax since 2015, it has now been announced that the supernatural horror Amityville: The Awakening will finally receive a release next month, and it will be completely free!

The nineteenth film to be based on the alleged Amityville haunting in the 1970s, the film is set to be released for free on Google Play between October 12th and October 28th, as well as receiving a limited theatrical release on October 28th.

Directed by Franck Khalfoun, Amityville: The Awakening stars Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Thomas Mann, Jennifer Morrison and Kurtwood Smith. It was shot back in 2014, and was originally slated for release in January 2015. Then April 2016. Then January 2017. Then June 2017…
