NYCC is to be the venue for the first trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising.
With last month’s news that the sequel to Pacific Rim has been pushed back to March from its initial February release date, talk surrounding the film itself has gathered steam.
There has yet to be any footage released from the movie with many fans wondering what could be causing the hold up. Well, they won’t have to wait much longer as it has been announced that the first trailer will be unveiled at New York Comic Con.
According to Trailer-Track, the trailer for the movie will be revealed during a special panel on Friday, October 6th. Director of the film Steven DeKnight and star John Boyega will be making appearances.
For fans eagerly waiting for their first glimpse of the sci-fi sequel this will certainly be exciting news, and a date to mark down.

Pacific Rim: Uprising sees Steven S. DeKnight (Daredevil) directing a cast that includes John Boyega (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Adria Arjona (True Detective), Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad), Cailee Spaeny (Counting to 1,000), Levi Meaden (Aftermath), Karan Brar (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Nick Tarabay (Spartacus), Zhang Jin (Ip Man 3), Mackenyu (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) and Jing Tian (Police Story: Lockdown), while Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman reprise their roles from the first film. It is set for release on March 23rd 2018.
