Monica Bellucci to star in sci-fi horror Nekromancer

October 1, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Monica Bellucci has signed on to star in Nekromancer, a new horror movie from Australian filmmakers Kiah and Tristan Roach-Turner (Wyrmwood).

Plot details on Nekromancer are being kept under wraps, but the outlet states that the “genre-mashing sci-fi horror [will] see the return of the Wyrmwood directors to the mix of gore and comedy that turned their debut feature into a fest hit.”

Production on Nekromancer is set to get under in Sydney, Australia later this year, with a cast that also includes Ben O’Toole (Hacksaw Ridge) and Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant).
