It looks like Avengers: Infinity War may be set to add yet another hero to its enormous roster, with rumours surfacing that the character of Cindy Moon – a.k.a. Silk – could be set to feature in next year’s Marvel superhero blockbuster.
The rumour began with a tweet from the IMDb, asking “Does the name Cindy Moon mean anything to you?”, complete with the Avengers: Infinity War logo, complete with a link to actress Tiffany Espensen, who just so happened to portray the character of Cindy in Spider-Man: Homecoming…

This of course could be pure speculation on the IMDb’s part, but interestingly the tweet was retweeted by comic book writer Robbie Thompson, known for his tweet on Marvel’s Silk series.
Silk was created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos and made her debut in the Marvel NOW! relaunch of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2014, quickly becoming a fan favourite.
