According to The Hollywood Reporter, Endeavor Content has snapped up the rights to Michael Wolff’s controversial bestseller Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, with plans to adapt the book as a television series.
The book details the inside story of the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency based upon Wolff’s exclusive access to the White House, and is currently the bestselling book worldwide, having topped the New York Times bestseller list within just two days of its release.
Wolff is set to serve as executive producer on the series alongside former Channel 4 and BBC exec Michael Jackson, who is now CEO of Two Cities Television. Endeavour, who is said to have paid a seven figure deal for the rights, will now begin shopping the project to interested networks.
If you can’t wait for Fire and Fury, then you soon get a (rather satirical) peek inside Trump’s White House thanks to Showtime’s upcoming animated series Our Cartoon President. Watch the trailer here.
