Diamond Comic Distributors has announced that Marvel Legacy #1 was the biggest selling comic book title of 2017, pipping Dark Nights: Metal #1 to the top spot.
The top ten featured five titles from Marvel and five from DC, with Marvel leading the way in terms of both publisher and dollar share.
Graphic novels belonged to Image Comics however, with Saga Vol. 7, Saga Vol. 1, The Walking Dead Vol. 27 and Paper Girls Vol. 1 taking the top four spots, with Batman Vol. 1 in fifth.
