With filming on the third season of Netflix’s acclaimed drama Stranger Things due to get underway this Spring, That Hashtag Show is reporting that The Duffer Brothers are looking to cast three new key roles for our latest visit to Hawkins, Indiana.
As per the site, here’s the casting descriptions for the three newcomers:
Mayor Larry Kline
Male, 40s-60s. A 1980s style slick politician, pathetic and driven only by self-interest.
Bruce
A morally compromised news reporter in his 50s. Outwardly sexist, overweight and bedraggled.
Patricia Brown
Female, 70s. A sweet neighborhood elder who tends to her garden and offers her advice to the local kids.

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
