Earlier this week it was reported that production on director Tim Miller and producer James Cameron’s Terminator reboot – a.k.a. Terminator 6 – is scheduled to get underway in May, and now we have a casting breakdown for the new lead character.
Despite bringing back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Cameron has previously revealed that the movie – a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day – will introduce a new female lead who will be “passed the baton” as the centrepiece of a planned trilogy, and TerminatorFans has uncovered the following casting notice for said character, Dani Ramos:
“Dani Ramos is a young woman in her early 20s from Mexico City. She was brought up in a working-class neighborhood, is independent and believes strongly in family. She’s more street-smart than book smart and is a woman who always manages to find a ray of light even in the darkest of circumstances.”
As yet, there haven’t been any actresses rumoured for the role of Dani, but with filming just a few short months away we should soon get some official news on the project.
