After shooting for several days back in January (for what may or may not be an Avengers: Infinity War tag), Marvel Studios has now officially commenced principal photography on its first female-led superhero blockbuster Captain Marvel, which sees Brie Larson taking on the role of Carol Danvers.
Coinciding with the start of production, a video from the set has surfaced online via Instagram, which shows Larson and her stunt double in the very same green costume we saw back in January; check it out here…

Captain Marvel is set for release on March 6th 2019 and sees Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) directing a cast that includes Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Dr. Walter Lawson/Mar-Vell, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva and Ben Mendelsohn and Lashana Lynch in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
