As the dust begins to settle on Avengers: Infinity War (and half of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes…), speculation as to the plot of Avengers 4 is running wild, with theories ranging from time-travel to alternate realities.
While Marvel Studios is keeping things very close to its chest, so much so that we don’t even know the title for the next movie, we do now have a brief synopsis from the latest issue of License Global, which teases the sacrifices that are going to have to be made in order to defeat Thanos and presumably undo the damage he caused at the climax of Infinity War:
“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”
At this point, it’s unclear when we’ll learn more about Avengers 4, given that Marvel has Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel arriving head of the next ensemble movie, and the studio has announced that it will be skipping the San Diego Comic-Con this July. While we wait, be sure to let us know your Avengers 4 theories in the comments below…
