Warning. A minor Solo: A Star Wars Story spoiler follows…
We’re just a little over a fortnight away from the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, and appearing on the Cape Up Podcast, Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Mark Hamill has accidentally let slip a minor – and not-too-unexpected – spoiler about the upcoming Anthology movie.
“Anthony Daniels was so happy, ‘cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie,” said Hamill. “Every single one. All the prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo… Whoops! I hope that’s not — erm… but anyway, he’s in every single Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal — all Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie.”
It would certainly be strange to see a Star Wars movie without C-3PO and R2-D2 making an appearance (kind of like no opening crawl…), although one would have to imagine it won’t be any more than the briefest of cameos, similar to what we got in Rogue One.
