We’ve already heard that Marvel Studios won’t be holding a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con International this year, and now comes word of another absence from Hall H, as HBO has announced that both Game of Thrones and Westworld will also be sitting out the convention.
“Due to production schedules and air dates for Game of Thrones and Westworld, these series will not be presented at San Diego Comic-Con this summer,” said an HBO representative. “HBO has a longstanding relationship with SDCC, and we are very grateful for the fans’ enthusiastic response over the years. We look forward to returning in the future.”
