Fresh from his return to the Jurassic Park franchise in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom [read our review here], Deadline is reporting that Jeff Goldblum has now signed on to appear in the dramedy thriller The Price of Admission, where he’ll join the previously announced Michael Sheen (Passengers) and Michelle Monaghan (The Path).
The film is being directed by Peter Glanz (The Longest Week) and “centers on a middling playwright (Sheen) amidst a mid-life crisis and failing marriage. His wife (Monaghan) is tired of being second fiddle to his work — she wants a family. But incapable of functioning in reality, he submerges himself in an elaborate play about his life. The only person who understands his plight is his best friend, Alexander Taft (Goldblum), a behavioral psychologist with a mid-life crisis of his own.”
Goldblum can currently be seen in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which opened in the UK this week, as well as Hotel Artemis, which debuts in the U.S. this Friday [read our review here].
