Despite being slated to arrive this month, A24 has now announced that it has pushed back the release of Under the Silver Lake six months, with the film now set to open on December 7th.
Directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) and starring Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge) and Riley Keough (It Comes At Night), the film premiered at Cannes last month, where it was met with a mixed response by critics.
According to The Playlist, the reason for the delay is to allow Mitchell time to rethink the movie, which ran for 180 pages in script format.
