Back in April, Disney and Lucasfilm officially announced the upcoming anime-inspired series Star Wars Resistance from Dave Filoni, creator of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and now we have our first glimpse at some character artwork.
Showcased at the Rendez-vous Des Partenaires 2018 event in France, the character art includes our new lead, the Resistance pilot Kazuda Xiono, along with the likes of Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma, who will be voiced by Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie respectively.

Star Wars Resistance will take place prior to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and follows the adventures of the young pilot Kazuda Xiono as he is recruited by the Resistance and tasked with a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. It is slated to launch later this year on Disney XD.
