With filming now underway, THR is reporting that actor and comedian J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Uncle Drew) has signed on to appear in a role in the Marvel superhero sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Smoove’s role is being kept under wraps, but he becomes the second new addition to the cast after Jake Gyllenhaal, who is set to portray the villain Mysterio. Returning from the cast of last year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming are Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Michael Keaton (The Vulture), Zendaya (Michelle) and Jacob Batalon (Ned), as well as director Jon Watts.
