THR is reporting that Icelandic actor Johannes Haukur Johannesson (Game of Thrones, Atomic Blonde) has become the latest addition to the cast of Sony’s Valiant comic book adaptation Bloodshot.
Bloodshot sees Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel in the title role as Ray Garrison, a mortally wounded soldier who finds himself resurrected using nanotechnology and given the task of hunting down superpowered outcasts known as harbingers.
The film is being directed by visual effects supervisor Dave Wilson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), and also stars Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Michael Sheen (Passengers), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Talulah Riley (Westworld) and Alex Hernandez (UnReal).

Principal photography on Bloodshot is slated to begin this month, ahead of an expected 2019 release date.
