Deadline is reporting that Tiffany Haddish has added yet another project to her upcoming slate, with the Girls Trip breakout set to star in Limited Partners, a comedy which has just been snapped up by Paramount Pictures.
Described as “Superbad meets Bridesmaids“, the film is “a friendship comedy about two hard charging best girlfriends who build a juggernaut company, and find their relationships tested when they are made a big buyout offer. Suddenly all the differences that made them perfect odd couple partners put them at war, threatening their business and personal relationships.”
Miguel Arteta (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) is set to direct the film, which has been scripted by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly and is due to begin production in October.
Haddish’s hectic schedule includes the Kevin Hart comedy Night School and Tyler Perry-directed Nobody’s Fool, which open in September and November respectively. Beyond that, she has the second season of The Last O.G. in production along with roles in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, The Secret Life of Pets 2, The Oath, The Kitchen, and The Temp.
