If you were looking forward to seeing Danny Boyle’s take on 007 with Bond 25 then I’m afraid we have some bad news for you, as the official Twitter account revealing that the Oscar-winning director is no longer attached to direct the film due to creative differences with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli and star Daniel Craig.

Boyle officially signed onto the project back in May, with the producers dropping their original script from Bond veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade in favour of a screenplay penned by Boyle’s frequent collaborator John Hodge.
At this point, it’s a little unclear as to how the producers plan to move forward, and which script they intend on using for Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as the super spy. However, production was not expected to get underway until December, so there’s still plenty of time to make sure the project gets on track for its release on October 25th 2019 in the UK and November 8th 2019 in North America.
