Earlier this week, Disney announced that principal photography had got underway on its upcoming live-action Mulan remake, with the studio releasing a first look image of Liu Yifei as the title character, and now we have word on two more additions to the cast.
According to Deadline, the film has cast Jimmy Wong (Video Game High School) and Doua Moua (Gran Torino) as the characters of Ling and Chien Po, two soldiers from the Chinese army who befriend Mulan.
Mulan is being directed by Niki Caro (The Zookeeper’s Wife) and stars Liu Yifei (The Chinese Widow) as the title character alongside a cast that also includes Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Chum Ehelepola (Sequestered), Yoson An (The Meg), Jet Li (The Expendables), Gong Li (Ana), Xana Tang (Filthy Rich), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect), Ron Yuan (Marco Polo), and Jason Scott Lee (Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story).

Mulan is set for release on March 27th 2020.
