Having received a stay of execution from Netflix following its cancellation by Fox back in May, the cast of Lucifer have taken to social media to share a video message announcing that filming is now underway on the fourth season of the Vertigo comic book adaptation.

Lucifer tells the story of Lucifer Morningstar, who becomes bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell and decides to retire to Los Angeles, where he ends up running a nightclub and acting as a consultant to the LAPD.
Lucifer is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2019.
