Back in January it was reported that Freeform had granted a pilot order to an immigration-themed reboot of the 90s family drama Party of Five, and now Variety is reporting that the project has found its leads.
According to the trade, Brandon Larracuente (13 Reasons Why), Emily Tosta (Mayans MC), Niko Guardado (The Goldbergs) and Elle Paris Legaspi (To My Family) have been cast as the Emilio, Lucia, Beto and Valentina Buendía, four siblings who struggle to survive as a family when their parents are deported to Mexico.
The rebooted series has been written by Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, creators of the original Golden Globe-winning Party of Five, which ran for six seasons on Fox between 1994 and 2000 and featured a cast that included Matthew Fox, Scott Wolf, Neve Campbell, Lacey Chabert and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
