After appearing in the second season of True Detective, Taylor Kitsch is set to reunite with HBO for an as-yet-untitled drama from writers John Barcheski (Sons of Anarchy) and Robert Munic (Ice), which has Matt Shakman (Game of Thrones) attached to direct.
The series is described as “a rich family drama full of revenge, love and humor” and will see Kitsch portraying Chris Klug, “a young, family oriented, drug dealer who catches the wrong end of a bad batch of dope that leaves him in a temporary vegetative state, only to discover that it was no accident and someone close to him was in fact trying to take him out.”
Kitsch recently appeared on the small screen as cult leader David Koresh in Paramount Network’s Waco miniseries, and was last seen on the big screen in the firefighter drama Only the Brave.
