Meanwhile, in addition to the poster release, it has also been announced that Rosario Dawson has signed on for a role in the sequel, although details of her role are being kept under wraps.
In Zombieland: Double Tap, “the zombie killers must face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. They have to also face the growing pains of their own makeshift family.”
Zombieland: Double Tap is set to reunite director Ruben Fleischer with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and original stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. Rosario Dawson (Luke Cage), Zoey Deutch (Flower) and Avan Jogia (Now Apocalypse) join the cast, while it’s also been rumoured that Bill Murray is returning along with his Ghostbusters co-star Dan Aykroyd with him. The film is set for release on October 11th 2019.
