Daniel Radcliffe believes that Harry Potter will get the reboot treatment “at some point”.
The Harry Potter franchise has certainly been one of the biggest film series in modern movie history, with legions of fans still dedicated to it all these years since the original films released.
Daniel Radcliffe, who famously starred as the title character, doesn’t think he will be the only on-screen Harry Potter, however, as he has told IGN that he believes the series will be rebooted in the future:
“I’m sure there will be some other version of it; I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m going to see in my lifetime… It feels like there’s a sacredness around them [the Harry Potter films] at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point. It’ll be interesting to see if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I’m fascinated to watch.”
It might seem like a strange idea but give it ten or twenty years and who knows. What do you think? Will Harry Potter be rebooted in our lifetimes? Let us know what you think and if a TV series could work in the comments below…
