Disney owned Hulu has revealed that it is open to reviving Marvel’s cancelled Netflix shows.
There have been a lot of sad faces when it comes to the Marvel shows cancelled by Netflix, particularly the popular Daredevil, which was canned by the platform after a critically acclaimed third season.
While the shows moving to Disney+ seems unlikely at this point, Hulu (which is owned by Disney) hasn’t ruled out the possibility that they could snap them up. Speaking to The Wrap, Hulu executive Craig Erwich said:
“Marvel has a ton of titles we’d be interested in. It kind of just depends on when they’re ready, [and] who, most importantly, is going to be behind these things.”
Hulu already airs Marvel’s Runaways, and just yesterday it was announced that the streaming platform will be launching four brand new Marvel adult animated series – Howard the Duck, M.O.D.O.K., Hit-Monkey and Tigra & Dazzler Show – which will then lead to a crossover team-up special entitled The Offenders.

Hulu would seem like a reasonable option should Marvel be keen on resurrecting Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist (along with Jessica Jones and The Punisher assuming they go the same way as the other shows). And considering the content would be kept within the Disney family, perhaps it will be something the studio will consider if they weren’t interested in having these shows appear on Disney+. We will have to wait and see.
