New trailer for submarine simulator UBoat

March 10, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Playway and developer Deep Water Studios have released a brand new trailer for their upcoming submarine simulator UBoat, which showcases the interiors of the German submarine and the game’s combat.

Set during the time of World War 2, UBoat is a survival sandbox/ simulator game concentrating on the life of German submariners.  Players will receive orders direct from Kriegsmarine Headquarters that will take them through the historical stages of the war, fighting through various regions and taking on increasingly stronger opponents.

Players will take control of the Uboat crew and will need to maintain their physical and mental health by keeping them well fed, ensure they have sufficient sleep and keep morale high.  Maintaining these factors will not only keep the submarine running effectively, it will also ensure the crew and ship are at peak performance for upcoming battles.  Discipline and trauma also needs to be balanced and if trauma gets too high then it can reveal a hidden side to each submariner, this can be alcoholism, insanity or even cowardice.

Each submariner on the UBoat will be unique and have their own face, personality, skills and story.  Players will interact with these men, eat with them chat with them and even watch them all queue for the loo.

UBoat will arrive on PC later this year. Check out our Twitter @FMyth_Gaming.
