With Star Wars Celebration Chicago a little over a month away, the official Star Wars site has announced that Lucasfilm Animation will be hosting three panels at the weekend as it puts the spotlight on Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance, and the returning Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
On Saturday April 13th, Dave Filoni will be joined by voice actors Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar and Taylor Gray for a panel entitled Star Wars Rebels Remembered. Don’t expect a surprise announcement about a new season however, as the site states this will not be happening.
On Sunday April 14th, Filoni will be back on stage to celebrate the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars for its seventh season, as well as offering a sneak peek at what’s to come.
Finally, on April 15th, Star Wars Resistance executive producers Justin Ridge, Athena Portillo and Brandon Auman and cast members Christopher Sean, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, and Donald Faison will be looking back at the “shocking” season one finale, as well as serving up a preview of the second season.
On the video game front, it’s previously been announced that EA and Respawn will be unveiling Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, while Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Star Wars Pinball and Star Wars: The Old Republic will also be showcased.
As yet, there’s no word on what’s happening on the live-action front, although it seems a pretty safe bet that Lucasfilm will be pulling back the curtain on Star Wars: Episode IX and the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
