The Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston comedy Murder Mystery has proven to be a big success for Netflix, with the streaming service announcing that over 30 million subscribers tuned in to watch the movie in its first weekend.

Although Netflix’s general policy is not to reveal viewing statistics, the company has started touting its successes in recent times, revealing that the Will Smith action fantasy Bright attracted 11 million subscribers in its first weekend, while the Sandra Bullock thriller Bird Box was viewed by more than 45 million accounts in its first week.
Murder Mystery marks the second pairing between Sandler and Aniston after Just Go With It, which grossed $215 million at the global box office back in 2011.
