Publisher Microids and developer Artefacts Studios have announced Garfield Kart: Furious Racing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Garfield Kart: Furious Racing features local split-screen races with up to four players and online multiplayer races with up to eight players. Additionally, Nintendo Switch players can connect locally via wireless connect with up to eight consoles.
The game will allow players to assume the role of eight characters including Garfield, Odie, Jon, Nermal, Arlene, Liz, Harry, and Squeak whilst racing around 16 tracks that are inspired by the history of the character such as Palerock Lake and Pastacosi Factory.
Each of these characters and karts (which can be customised with accessories) have their own characteristics and driving style. Additionally, players can race across these tracks in three different game modes: Grand Prix, Single Race, and Time Trial.
For people unaware, Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a sequel to Garfield Kart, a kart racer again developed by Artefacts Studio in 2013 for iOS, Nintendo 3DS, and PC via Steam.
The game is set for release on 5th November in the United States and 7th November in Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
