Joe Manganiello has revealed that he would love to play Kraven the Hunter in a Marvel movie, saying that it would be a “dream role”.
Sony is taking full advantage these days of their catalogue of Spider-Man villains, making spin-off movies such as Venom and Morbius. One more film in the pipeline is a Kraven movie from writer Richard Wenk.
The Spider-Man: Far From Home writers have also said they would like to bring Kraven to the big screen but however it happens, Justice League’s Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello says he would love to play the role.
While on the Lights Camera Barstool podcast, the actor said Kraven’s Last Hunt was one of his favourite comic stories and said that Kraven couldn’t be kept separate from the MCU and Spider-Man for long: “Well you have to have him crossover at some point because Kraven’s Last Hunt is too good a piece of material to [pass up].”
When asked if he would like the part, he said: “You kidding me? That would be a dream role.”

Who knows, perhaps Manganiello will get his wish. It will be interesting to see what happens with this particular character and if Kraven will play a part in the wider MCU.
