After officially announcing Eternals for November 2020, Marvel Studios continued its Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con by revealing that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will release in February 2021.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton (The Glass Castle) took to the stage to announce that, having screen tested last Sunday, Simu Liu (Kim’s Convenience) has been cast in the title role as the Master of Kung-Fu, while Tony Leung will portray The Mandarin (the REAL Mandarin, not that phoney Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3!) and Awkwafina will appear in an as-yet-untitled role.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will open on February 12th 2021.
