While his directing slate is looking pretty full with Next Goal Wins, Thor: Love and Thunder and Akira, New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi has found time to squeeze in another project, with the Jojo Rabbit helmer set to executive produce the sci-fi thriller Night Raiders.
As per THR, Night Raiders takes place in a post-war North America where a military occupation controls disenfranchised cities. Children here are property of the state, and the film will follow a desperate woman who joins an underground band of vigilantes to infiltrate a state children’s academy to get her daughter back.
