The Walking Dead showrunner has addressed what will happen to the Grimes children after Michonne (Danai Gurira) exits the show in the upcoming Season 10.
During an episode of the Talking Dead following Sunday’s Season 10 premiere, showrunner Angela Kang stated that Judith (Cailey Fleming) and her younger brother RJ (Antony Azor) will continue their stories within the apocalyptic community.
“Um, well, you know… The amazing thing about the apocalyptic community is it’s truly a village,” Kang said. “There’s so many people who love Judith and RJ, Michonne loves them so much, these people on the couch love them so much, and so, there will be some story about what happens in that aftermath.”
How Gurira’s Michonne exits The Walking Dead is still being kept under wraps and according to the producer of the show, the exit strategy will raise even more questions – maybe in a similar vein to Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes exit during season nine?
