Poster and trailer for Judy & Punch starring Mia Wasikowska and Damon Herriman

October 9, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its UK release next month, a poster and trailer have arrived online for writer-director Mirrah Foulkes upcoming drama Judy & Punch. The film is a reinterpretation of the 17th Century puppet show and stars Mia Wasikowska and Damon Herriman in the title roles as puppeteers trying to resurrect their marionette show in an anarchic town.

UPDATE: And here’s the UK poster…

In the outlandish town of Seaside, located nowhere near the coast, puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show. The show is a hit due to Judy’s superior puppeteering, but Punch’s driving ambition and penchant for a drink lead to an ill-fated turn of events that Judy must avenge.

Judy & Punch is set for release on November 15th.
