Deadline is reporting that Evangeline Lilly (Avengers: Endgame) and Jason Sudeikis (Driven) have been cast in the thriller Till Death, which is being directed by Aharon Keshales (Big Bad Wolves).
The film will see Sudeikis playing Jimmy, a convicted felon “who gets early parole after serving twelve years for armed robbery. Upon his release, he vows to give Annie, his childhood love, now dying from cancer, the best last year of her life – unfortunately it’s not that simple.”
“Till Death has been my passion project for years and it finally found a home,” said Keshales, who is currently in post-production on his latest film Gunpowder Milkshake starring Karen Gillan, Lena Headey and Michelle Yeoh. “I came up with the idea during my honeymoon. It’s a love story. Sort of. It’s a love story that got stuck in a Sam Peckinpah action-thriller.”
Till Death is being produced by Cinestate, the studio behind S. Craig Zahler’s Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Contrete, as well as the 2018 thriller The Standoff at Sparrow Creek.
