Back in August, Aquaman star Jason Momoa revealed that he’s had the pleasure of watching the fabled ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League, with the actor stating that he found Zack Snyder’s version of the DC superhero team-up “ssssiiicccckkkkkk” – so ssssiiicccckkkkkk, in fact, that he’s hoping the public gets to enjoy it too.
“I have seen it. I’ve seen the Snyder Cut,” Momoa told MTV News in a new interview. “I think the public needs to see it. I’m obviously indebted to Warner and DC and I don’t know how they feel about it, but I mean as a fan, I’m very, very happy that I got to see it.”
Momoa went on to confirm that Snyder’s version feels like a totally different movie to the theatrical cut that was released in theaters, which was heavily reshot and re-edited under the stewardship of Joss Whedon.

At this point it seems that Warner Bros. has no plans to release the Snyder Cut any time soon, but fans will no doubt remain hopeful that we may get to see it at some point… and who knows? We did eventually get the Richard Donner cut of Superman II, after all.
Justice League features Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K.
