New image of Kristen Stewart as Jean Seberg

November 4, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Thanks to The New York Times, we’ve got a new image from Seberg, the upcoming Jean Seberg biopic from Amazon Studios, which sees Kristen Stewart taking on the role of the Breathless star and French New Wave icon who became a target of the Federal Bureau of Investigation over her support for various civil rights groups.

Inspired by real events about the French New Wave darling and Breathless star, Jean Seberg, who in the late 1960s was targeted by Hoover’s FBI, because of her political and romantic involvement with civil rights activist Hakim Jamal.

Seberg is directed by Benedict Andrews (Una) and sees Kristen Stewart starring alongside Jack O’Connell, Anthony Mackie, Colm Meaney, Margaret Qualley, Vince Vaughn, Zazie Beetz, Stephen Root and Yvan Atta. It is set for release on January 3rd.
