It’s been a successful reunion for Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett, with Sony’s buddy cop action comedy threequel Bad Boys For Life grossing almost $100 million around the globe in its opening weekend.
Domestically, Bad Boys For Life grossed $59 million over the three-day weekend, and is on course for an estimated $68.1 million over the four-day Martin Luther King weekend. Regardless, it’s already topped Ride Along’s $48.6 million four-day total for the second-biggest MLK opening ever behind American Sniper ($107.2 million).
