HBO has revealed a first look at The Undoing, the upcoming TV adaptation of Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel You Should Have Known. The series reunites Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman with writer/producer David E. Kelley, and sees Kidman in the role of Grace Sachs, a successful therapist who finds herself in the wake of a public disaster just weeks before her first book is published; take a look here…
The story focuses on a successful therapist, Grace Sachs (Kidman), along with her husband, Jonathan (Grant), and their young son (Noah Jupe), who attends an elite private school in New York City. A chasm opens in her seemingly perfect life: a violent death, a missing spouse and, in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain of terrible revelations.
Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster, and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.
Joining Kidman in the cast of The Undoing are Hugh Grant, Noah Jupe, Donald Sutherland, Edgar Ramirez, Lily Rabe, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Matilda De Angelis, and Noma Dumezweni.
