Although it wasn’t part of the initial Phase Four slate unveiling at the San Diego Comic-Con – instead being announced at D23 Expo alongside Moon Knight and She-Hulk – it seems that Marvel Studios may be squeezing the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel into its 2021 line-up.
The studio already has Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man 3 and Thor: Love and Thunder set for release theatrically in 2021, along with Loki, What If…? and Hawkeye on Disney+ – and if Hasbro’s information from its Investor presentation at this weekend’s New York Toy Fair is accurate, it appears that the Ms. Marvel series will be joining them on the streaming service. Here’s the schedule, direct from Hasbro:
Filming is already underway on Loki, and with Hawkeye reportedly gearing up to shoot in September, it’s safe to assume that Ms. Marvel will need to start production in the next few months to keep to that schedule, and so hopefully it won’t be too long before we get some official news and castings for Kamala Khan’s solo series.
