With the majority of the world still locked down due to the current global health crisis, The CW has announced some updates to its schedule, including the DC shows The Flash and Stargirl.
With the producers unable to complete the season due to the shutdown, The CW has announced that The Flash will be going on hiatus, with its final season six episodes now slated to air sometime later in the year.
The Flash has enough episodes in the can to last through to May 12th, and to fill the DC void, it has been decided that the premiere of Stargirl will now be pushed back a week from its original May 12th date.
The plan had been for Stargirl to run with The Flash as its lead in for several weeks; however, the Brec Bassinger-headlined series now set to debut on DC Universe on May 18th and on The CW on May 19th, airing on Tuesday nights alongside the remaining episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 5.
