Before the second season of the massively successful Disney+ show debuts, it seems like fans will already see more of The Mandalorian. Sources close to Variety say that the streaming show is moving ahead with plans for a third season.
Variety is reporting that sources close to the production have confirmed that creator Jon Favreau has worked on “season 3 for a while,” and that the art department, led by Lucasfilm vice president and executive creative director Doug Chiang, has crafted concepts for Season 3 during “for the past few weeks.”
“We’ve just started pre-production and are looking into further adventures for the Mandalorian in Season 3,” revealed one source to the trade.
