Known for his roles in television and film, The Mandalorian has added another acting heavyweight to its ranks with the news that Timothy Olyphant (Justified, Scream 2) will join the galaxy of Star Wars.
The exact nature of Olyphant’s role is being kept under wraps by Disney and Star Wars, but Variety has confirmed he will be joining the show. He joins previously confirmed Season 2 cast members Temuera Morrison, Rosario Dawson, Katee Sackhoff and Michael Biehn.

At the time of reporting, neither reps for Olyphant or Disney have commented on the casting.
The Mandalorian season two is set to premiere in October 2020 and sees the returning Pedro Pascal (Din Djarin), Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Bill Burr (Mayfield) alongside new cast additions Rosario Dawson (Daredevil), Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones), Katee Sackhoff (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Timothy Olyphant (Justified) and Michael Biehn (The Terminator).
