As the 2021 Sundance Film Festival comes to a close, we begin the next era in film. After six days of the virtual film festival and over 70 feature films on display, the 2021 Sundance Film Festival’s Awards Ceremony took place last night.
One of the biggest winners of the evening, and the whole festival, if we’re honest, was Sian Heder’s CODA. The gripping coming-of-age story not only walked away with a $25 million deal with Apple but the most significant awards of Sundance.
