WandaVision is about to come to Disney+ and star Elizabeth Olsen says that a second season of the show is a real possibility.
This Friday sees the start of the first project for Phase 4 of the MCU. WandaVision begins on Disney+ with two episodes and looks to be an incredibly creative and weird Marvel story. We know that Wanda will also be seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness so fans could be forgiven for thinking that her story will then be concluded.
However, Elizabeth Olsen is of the mind that a second season of WandaVision could happen, bringing Wanda back yet again for another tale. Speaking to Collider, the actress was asked if Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness will act as WandaVision season 2: “I guess the answer is that [WandaVision] could [get a second season],” she laughed.
Of course, it would all depend on how well WandaVision is received by fans and if audiences head to Disney+ to tune in. One expects, however, that it won’t struggle to find an audience.
Marvel Studios’ captivating new series WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
WandaVision is set to premiere January 15th, 2021, and features a cast that includes Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Randall Park (Agent Jimmy Woo), Teyonah Parris (Empire) as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) as Agnes.
