Trailer for revenge thriller Adverse starring Mickey Rourke, Lou Diamond Phillips and Thomas Nicholas

Lionsgate has released a poster and trailer for writer-director Brian A. Metcalf’s upcoming thriller Adverse which follows a rideshare driver out for revenge when his sister goes missing after falling deep into debt with a sleazy drug dealer; take a look here…

Struggling to make ends meet, rideshare driver Ethan (Thomas Nicholas) learns his sister Mia is deep in debt to a sleazy drug dealer. When Mia goes missing, Ethan discovers that crime boss Kaden (Mickey Rourke) is behind the act, and to get close to him Ethan takes a job as Kaden’s driver. One by one Ethan hunts down members of Kaden’s crew to wreak bloody vengeance as he prepares to confront Kaden himself.

Adverse stars Thomas Nicholas (Red Band Society), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Lou Diamond Phillips (Prodigal Son), and Penelope Ann Miller (The Artist).

Adverse is set for a theatrical release on February 12th, followed by a digital and DVD release on March 9th.
