Halle Berry set for sci-fi adventure The Mothership

March 1, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Halle Berry is set to executive produce and star in The Mothership, a sci-fi adventure which is set to mark the feature directorial debut of Bridge of Spies screenwriter Matthew Charman.

Berry will take on the role of Sara Morse, a woman “whose husband mysterious vanished from their rural farm one year earlier. When she discovers a strange, extraterrestrial object underneath their home, Sara and her kids embark on a race to find their husband, father, and most importantly – the truth.”

MRC Film and Netflix are producing the film, with the streamer reuniting with Berry after securing the distribution rights to her own directorial debut, the MMA drama Bruised, which is expected to release later this year.
