April 30, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Paramount has released a poster and trailer for the upcoming crime drama Georgetown. The film marks the directorial debut for Christoph Waltz, who also stars as an ambitious social climber that marries a wealthy older woman (Vanessa Redgrave), when she passes away her daughter (Annette Bening) begins to suspect he is not what he seems when a police investigation uncovers his deception; take a look here…

In this thrilling true crime story filled with twists, turns, and political turmoil Waltz stars as Ulrich Mott, an eccentric and smooth-talking social climber who seems to have everyone in Washington, D.C. wrapped around his finger. But when his wealthy, well-connected and much older wife (Redgrave) turns up dead in their home, her daughter Amanda (Bening) suspects Ulrich may not be all that he seems as the police investigation begins to uncover a larger deception that goes far deeper than anyone ever imagined.

Georgetown is set for a theatrical release on May 14th, and arrives on digital and On Demand on May 18th.
