Like Benoit Blanc cracking a huge case, the news broke last week that Netflix had teamed with Rian Johnson and a Thrombey Estate’s worth of cash to develop two sequels to 2019’s box-office smash Knives Out. The only confirmed cast member is Daniel Craig, who stole the original film with his donut hole theorising detective. Johnson has already written the scripts, and casting is underway as the production heads to Greece for a proposed 28th June start-date.
In the meantime Jamie Lee Curtis has her own sequels to worry about, with Halloween Kills, which she has called “a masterpiece”, and Halloween Ends set to be released over the next 18-months.
